Only a month??

Its almost a month (That's it??) and I’m in a new office.
Quite astonishingly, i don’t miss my previous company so much except when i pass in front of it everyday.. Oh and also when I’m having lunch (i can practically imagine all my favorite people gossiping in lunch room in the other end of road).. That's right! I am in a office from where i can spot my previous one... (A horrible decision if you are thinking anything remotely close!)
Changing job is like marriage! Exciting at first (when its just an idea). That’s when you dream of all the things that can be expected and the grass looks greener (while you don’t care if you are looking at the other side of the fence). Its when you can feel a sense of liberation from all the worries.
Next comes the phase when you are all emotional about leaving the place and suddenly everything seems just perfect.. even the rude colleagues seem “Mature” for their lecturers.. the once crappy building suddenly looks “heavenly”.. the canteen food which you tried to avoid anytime possible looks so yummy that you don’t like your own moms cooking!
Well.. In short.. You feel all time low for making a decision to leave such an awesome place.
Now comes THE moment!
Well.. That’s when everything from your past flashes in front of you like never before letting you know “Its never going to be the same”
Its the time you convince yourself to stay strong and focus on your life (which works momentarily but fails later)
Then the joining! Where you feel all childish again with your new job, new boss and colleagues, you compare everything with your previous one. And you can be spotted more often stating things like “we use to do it in this way” or “we manufacture these things” etc and you are surprised that all those things were so much a part of your life once!
Well.. everything has a expiry date and so does fondness. You realize the same when the new place becomes YOUR place.. when your colleagues are the only ones you share things now (who make some of the previous colleagues seem like jerks) and you feel perfectly happy here and THIS is your new home!
But.. Till when??
