“i have my
finals starting from tomorrow!”
I am on
phone with my younger sister and she’s very excited about finishing her 1st
year PU (i can judge the level of excitement with the screeching that is
practically driving me closer to being deaf)while i am still wondering how on
earth she’s so grown up!
It seems
just the other day when my dad woke me up on MY birthday and excitedly gave me
the news of my sis being born (Yes! That’s right! She was born on the same day
as me... After 8 long years!!)
I was so
furious at him for not wishing me in the first place and also that i wanted a
brother
But all
that seems futile now
She has
been a wonderful partner in all the deeds.. all the secrets (which even mom is
not aware of!)
Her “aww”
in between my narrations.. or her tears during the entire ceremony of my
marriage.. Her throwing whatever-she-could-get-her-hands-on when she was angry
or the winking when we planned about slipping out of home for a plate of pani
puri (when it used to be pouring outside!).. Her endless texts (with all the
dramatic dialog from Bollywood movies) and her singing in that awesome voice! Ash...
she’s the best thing that has happened to me till.... i met my husband (i can
see her eyeing this post in a angry way like a kid now :p and i can’t stop
smiling)
Let me not
be so flattening! (She must be on cloud nine.. or even higher just by reading
such stuffs!)
She also is
the most adamant.. Most notorious kid yet has maturity in a weird way.
She was
sometimes called my elder sister mostly because she would end up taking care of
me whenever our parents were not around
Sharing my
bday is one thing.. she even wants my clothes!
I am super
furious at her for such stuffs.. but i can’t be more because i have sneaked a few
of her cute outfits myself ;)
It’s just
another day in office and I’m missing you loads my dearest Sis! I miss all our
stupid conversations..the weirdest adventures (Which we used to have our own
way) and of course our fights
