The pressure of +2

It's 11:45 PM and I'm in the cab.. En route to home (after 14 hrs of work.. If I'm able to type on this stupid touch screen mobile.. Not really caring abt my contact lens-less eyes .. How frustrated am I actually??)

Anyway..in between the Korean lyrics that are reaching my ears but refusing to enter saying the brain is jammed.. My phone screeches the minions sleep songs (which apparently woke up my colleagues who were fast asleep after a long day at work.. Yea! The irony!)

It's my sis calling to say it's her finals tomorrow (+2) and of course she's pretty tensed (given that my dad is at home.. Retired) and I can't help but to remember what I was doing 7+ years ago (OK.. That took me around 30+ seconds to figure the approx number of years... Age issues I feel!)

At that point of time.. I was watching "mungaru male" (a super hit at that time.. Multiple times to remind me that sacrifice is eternal.. But was that for sacrifice of marks? Gee!)

I was trying to get in touch with every person I knew who would possibly have a decent notes for me to photocopy and pass the exam.

I was taking more pee breaks than flipping the pages of syllabus book

I also had the best sleep of my life (at least till date)

My sis on phone is still worrying about what dad would say if she's not able to perform and I say.. "Well.. You shouldn't care about them now. Remember the line from the movie Race.. " Tum kabhi nahi jeete kyunki tum mujhe hamesha harana chahtete lekin main kabhi haara nahi kyunki main hamesha jeetna chahtatha" (you could never win because you always thought about defeating me but I never lost because I always wanted to win)

I can sense her smirk (would be thinking.."my Di is so filmy"..well I am!)

I hang up saying "fighting!" In typical Korean fashion (my bad)

Oops my dad is calling.. And I'm telling him "don't worry dad.. I've strictly told her that we have loads of hopes on her" and my colleague who got woken up coz of me is nodding his head with a crooked smile (what ever)!
