"The day has been spent well"
I tell myself with a smile, looking at the amount raised as a contribution for my ex colleague's daughter's cancer treatment
Internet is a funny place. It makes people close to you , drift away given the amount of time you spend on social media (including blogger ), but a simple message with a kid suffering makes you leave everything behind and reach out for every person who could possibly help
I was born in an era which had no cell phones (let alone internet facility in them). And we would roam the roads of our tiny little town to play and not to collect imaginary yellow creatures which would at the end of the day do nothing but empty the phone memory and internet balance for the month
So looking at the number of people reading my blog (not too many but every person counts!), i'm posting the link to give your bit and help this 3 year old girl. For a Friday, it definitely might be a huge ask for my colleagues who have already pledged it on poker but for the rest of you, its a matter of making your mind!
Go ahead and be Santa for this li'l girl ! :)
