While the government of India is looking to ease the lock down that might will not be applicable for people in the 'elite class' because lets face it - they had to get out for medicines and spa every now and then during knockdown s well, I'm reminiscing the thought about days when it will be over and I get to NOT see state of few things that are frankly driving me nuts. No - this is not a rambling of a girl who is going crazy staying at home but it is of someone who cannot help but notice the craziness around

1. Video call screenshots
Be it the crazy friends or the giant families we all have, everyone seems to be in a spree to show it off. I've been invited for a few of these calls as well and guilty of re-posting but frankly enough, I would love to meet them in person. But I would definitely miss the option of muting all of them at once or muting myself to pass comments which I'm glad they are not able to hear :D
2. Dolgona coffee and other "Instagrabbable dishes"
My YouTube feed which in the past used to show groovy songs to funny videos now just runs pages together on "Easy to make at home recipes". Everyone seems to have turned into a chef and its not to eat alone but to show the world what is a looks-good food! Lets face it - Wouldn't we want to see the selfies of people posing weirdly than what they are eating today? Hopefully they don't get frantic about their bowel movements before this ends!
3. The tick-tok videos
From kids to grandmas and uncles in the neighborhood - EVERYONE is going crazy on this app that I frankly don't understand but I do mind when in between my movie time, I'm shown videos of these folks behaving weirdly and being oddly satisfied that they are on TV! Why?? What has happened to you all??
4. #missing posts where non-travelers want to suddenly travel
I woke up yesterday dreaming that I was on a beach with no one around. Maybe I'm getting used to the solitude but some people might not. Why else would they skim through their gallery and post photos that they had missed out earlier (because it was a repetition of the picture posted earlier) with a hashtag that runs the entire length of my phone?
5. Celebrity posts of what they are doing at home
We have seen posts of celebrities working out or surprising everyone by going on a lunch / dinner date but even more surprising is their post from home where they are doing household chores (and some crying over it too)! Who would have thought that a virus could get these glamorous people do things that maybe their own parents could never force on?
6. The conversation starters
Gone are the days when we would ask folks how their weekend has been or where they went on vacation. The newest in town is - "What did you bake this weekend?" or "How is your lockdown album coming along" or better yet "Are you crazy yet?"
We are homo sapiens have come a long way building societies leaving behind instincts of our ancestors to adapt. The sole idea of staying away from parties on a Friday night has forced us to stock up on hot drinks in alarming quantity or get us on suicidal instincts if they are not available. With each ad now showing what is Covid safe and can help your family, I'm looking froward for a situation that I was accustomed to (no matter how crazy) with their daily soaps, neighbors ranting, crazy traffic, illogical shopping sprees and the hustle-bustle
