Lost and Not-Yet found

I'm on the splurge of digital distraction because of lack of better alternative. I'm looking at a post that says "imagine if you are handed out a box full of what you have lost throughout your life" and that takes me back. (Isn't it great that we think all post in social media is about us :p). So I'm wondering what comes as my Top 4 (everyone does a top 5 right?)

1. A pencil shaving rose that my high school crush had given me

Nahh.. not romantic at all. Probably he wanted to just get rid of it (he always got things from his 'admirers') but it was such a cliched moment for me (which had nothing to do with the number of soaps I used to watch on TV). I had kept that for almost 2 hours and lost it randomly when I returned from my sports session (eye rolling repeated 3 times with suspicion music in the background followed by a tragic score)

2. My cartoon scrap book with all the goofy things

Actually, this scrap book had not just cartoon strips that I felt were humorous (and now that I think about it.. a bit racial) but also the FLAMES against all the school crushes for me and my friends with probably few embarrassing lines (to be added in a love letter). So who ever took that up when I moved cities.. its time to return it guys (you can have the cartoon probably)

3. Safety pin in Bus 201

If you  use public transport regularly, its not shocking to find jerks who want to feel you up. So, me and my friends had agreed to carry safety pins with us to come in handy if any man came behind us and tried to show the 'hotness' they have. The pin that I had was very special - optimum sized to hold convincingly, totally sharp (ask the dozen men who let out sharp screams and had to get down from the bus or move further away because there were 'red ants' ) and totally lucky (NOT a superstition but whatever!). So imagine my desolateness when I dropped it in the overcrowded bus and could never find another pin like it! Where are you pricky??

4. A truck load of friends and crushes!

Probably my mistake and some of my dad's too who was in a transferable job but hey! How would I know I had to know your first name, probable last name, city and current way you look before I hit a search on Facebook? Had no freaking idea you guys would randomly appear in my dreams now and then! Its a treat to be honest :)

On top of this, I also have missed a zillion of books (thanks to few people who don't understand what a book means to people like me! Borrow money and I may never ask but borrow a book and you are under my surveillance forever!), hairbands and dresses (thanks to my stint in a ladies hostel in Bangalore where everything belongs to everyone unless you lock them up.. and they don't have a spare key by chance!) and my LIFE (all thanks to the notion of working after graduation and having a baby after marriage)

What would you like find by the way? :)
