Its a day i'm working from home (All thanks to Bangalore's return to a temperature below 30! and my swollen feet that doesn't allow me to wear anything other than my husband's sandals)
I'm awoken by a lady driver with a fake american accent trying to tell me that she's here to pick me up and i try to reason with her saying "But i'm not going to office today!" (might have sounded like my 10 year old self trying to resist going to school). She hangs up obviously irritated because she has just lost one trip worth of money.
I'm next awoken by my husband who wants me to bath in warm water as the weather is so-cool. I give him one look and maybe he gets the point (Don't-ever-wake-me-up)
I'm happily sleeping and my motherly sense gives me a swirl reminding me that the baby has not kicked/moved since previous night (DON'T read the articles that come your way when you are pregnant! They make you imagine things!!)
I text my husband "No baby movements since yesterday" and i get a reply saying "Maybe the baby is a heavy sleeper! just like me"
Humor doesn't work its magic and i ignore the message (obviously irritated)
I get up, brush and do all things that should get the baby moving - Drink ice water, have chocolates, sleep in uncomfortable positions, talk to the baby (Yup! i did that.. and believe me.. it IS weird to talk to your belly!). But in the end, Nothing is working and i'm worked up.

And then i remember its not my day off.
Cursing myself for having a li'l too much of Chinese the day before, I login to start my work.
I receive a call from my husband. The phone starts to buzz with a cheesy number i'm trying out for a ringtone and the baby starts moving around frantically! How orthodox! (i'm rolling my eyes, trying to hide my grin as i answer the call)
